Here are excerpts from an interview with him:
How did you maintain 100% efficiency throughout the year?
I was sincere and confident in my work. I was totally involved and took interest in the jobs I was doing in the cell. I made a mental commitment that every job I do must be perfect. Co-employees extended support and help, while my superiors motivated me to take up challenging jobs. An example was my involvement in making new Pilot Valve bodies. Of course, my apprenticeship in the Crosby Division during 1998-99 helped me to understand and perform my jobs better.
You are the first employee to bag this award. How do you feel about it?
I am very happy and proud to be part of the Sanmar group. This is a great recognition of my work and ability. I am determined and confident that I will win the award again.
What do you think each employee should do for the growth of the organization?
Every employee must have a strong conviction that the wellbeing of the employees is linked to the betterment of the company. Punctuality and attendance are a must. Everyone must be committed to providing 100% output and willing to take up challenging jobs. Teamwork and continuous improvements are the key factors for the success of any company.
