Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College made 142 for 2 in 32 overs to crush the other finalists Guru Nanak College to win the K S Narayanan Inter Collegiate Cricket Tournament at the IIT Chemplast cricket ground in March 2001 for the second time in a row. The Vivekananda lads indulged in some fine hitting and good bowling. Scores: Vivekananda College 142/2 in 32 overs (S P Lekshmi Kumar 70, Anil Kumar 32) Guru Nanak College 136 all out.
