Flowserve Corp receives IACC-Sanmar award

Chennai, Apr 11 (UNI) Leading provider of fluid motion and control products and services Flowserve Corp (NYSE:FLS) today received the IACC Sanmar Indo-US Business Co-operation award.

The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) and the Sanmar group had jointly instituted the IACC-Sanmar award, which was presented to the Flowserve Corporation CEO and President Lewis Kling at a function held here.

"The award was honoured for its significant role in sharing technology at a time when Indian industry needed it most and its commitment to constantly upgrade the technology and also for sustaining and building the goodwill between the two countries", IACC President R Anand told newspersons.

"Flowserve's relationship with India and Indian businesses runs into four decades", he said, adding "Indian industry had benefitted immensely by the technology and advanced processes that the company brought in".

The award was presented by Chairman IACC R Anand and Sanmar group Chairman N Sankar to Lewis Kling.
