SALEM: The Chemplast Sanmar limited has contributed funds for the construction of three overhead tanks as a part its Corporate Social Responsibility activities. Chief Executive-Operations N.S. Mohan and Vice-President Operations Hariharaputhiran handed over cheques for Rs. 3,21,667 to Collector Mathivanan on Wednesday for the construction of tanks under the Namakku Name Thittam.
The tanks would be constructed in Kuyavankaadu and Mariannan Kattuvalavu villages coming under P.N.Patti Town Panchayat and Madhaiyan Thittu of Mottur village.
Special recruitment
The Eureka Forbes Limited will conduct a special drive to recruit marketing personnel on the District Employment Office (DEO) premises at 2.30 p.m. on April 30.
Male candidates aged between 21 and 25 who have completed degree or diploma course are eligible for the post. The selected candidates would be paid a sum of Rs. 5,500 as salary. About 400 personnel would be recruited. Those who have registered with the DEO for government employment can attend the drive. Their registration will not be cancelled.
