AMP Sanmar is the first private life insurer to conduct regular Customer Meets. The Customer Meets create an opportunity for the customers to interact with the company’s senior management, have their queries answered and to get an update on the company’s growth.
It brings together the AMP Sanmar family, creating positive word-of-mouth publicity. Customer Meets have been conducted in Kerala (Trivandrum), Andhra Pradesh (Hyderabad) and Tamil Nadu (Chennai) and will continue to roll out to other centres during 2003. The response from the customers has been overwhelming. More than 1500 leads have been generated through these meets and passed to the sales team for conversion to business.
Launch of Life: The Customers’ Magazine
AMP Sanmar has launched Life, a magazine meant to be a two-way communication medium between the company and its customers. It has sections for all members of the policyholders’ family: news updates for the policyholder, contests and ‘do-it-yourself’ activities for the children, an informative know-your-insurance section and health. Advisors’ Newsletter has been another recent publication by AMP Sanmar, containing not only historic information about AMP but numerous informative and instructive sections, bound to expand the horizons of AMP staff. Of particular interest are profiles of advisors, prize schemes, and background information on the neighbourhoods serviced by AMP Sanmar’s Customer Service Centres.
